Cycling improvements made during the Phase 1 pilot period (May until September 2023)

We’ve made neighbourhood bikeway improvements along the streets highlighted in the map below. These include speed humps, traffic diversions, stencil pavement markings and new signage.

We’ve installed a 2-way protected cycle track along the south side of Kingsway to connect the Highland Park Line Trail with the new neighbourhood bikeway along Britton Street. Improvements include pavement markings, flexible delineators, extruded curbs and new signage.

We’ve installed an off-street protected multi-use pathway (MUP) on 15th Street between 13th Avenue and 11th Avenue. Improvements include asphalt curbs with flexible delineators, pavement markings and new signage.
