About the project

We are building a new playground at Lewarne Park, designed to be a fun, accessible and welcoming space for the growing Royal Oak community.

The upgraded park will feature:

  • accessible play structures for children of all abilities
  • safe rubber surfacing
  • upgraded multisport court
  • new furniture and amenities
  • a stroller friendly paved trike path for children learning to ride

The playground design is underway, with construction over the summer and opening in fall 2026.
